How to Add Drivers in Bobok (School Dashboard)
Overview
The Driver Management section allows schools to add and manage transport drivers in Bobok. You can add drivers in two ways:
Manually (One-by-One Entry)
Bulk Upload using CSV
Both methods ensure that drivers are properly registered for student transport tracking and safety.
Where to Find This Section
Log in to the Bobok School Dashboard
Navigate to: Driver Management
You will see:
Filter section (Date, Type, Status)
Driver list table
Buttons: Add Driver and Upload via CSV
Option 1: Add Driver Manually
When to Use
Adding a single driver
Making quick entries
Adding new drivers occasionally
Steps to Add Driver
Click on “Add Driver”
A pop-up form will open. Fill in the following details:
Basic Information
Driver Name (Required)
Email (Required)
Phone Number (Required)
Driver Verification
Driver Photo (Recommended)
DL Front (Driving License Front Image) (Required)
DL Back (Driving License Back Image) (Required)
DL Number (Required)
Click “Save Driver”
Important Tips
Ensure the phone number is active (used for communication/logins)
Upload clear images of Driving License
Double-check DL Number for accuracy
Option 2: Upload Drivers via CSV (Bulk Upload)
When to Use
Adding multiple drivers at once
Migrating data from another system
Initial setup of drivers
Steps to Upload CSV
Click on “Upload via CSV”
Click “Download Sample CSV”
Open the sample file and fill in driver details correctly
Save the file in CSV format
Upload the file using “Choose File”
Click “Upload”
CSV Guidelines (Very Important)
Do NOT change column names in the sample file
Ensure:
Phone numbers are valid
Emails are correctly formatted
No empty mandatory fields
Use proper file format: .csv only
Understanding the Driver List
Once added, drivers will appear in the table with:
Name
Phone
Photo
Status
Create Date
Action (View/Edit/Delete/Inactive/Delete/Gate Entry-Exit QR Scan Access if enabled)
Filters Available
Use filters to manage large data:
From Date / To Date → Filter by creation date
Type → Filter driver category (if applicable)
Status → Active/Inactive
Click:
Apply → To filter
Reset → To clear filters

Keep driver data updated and active
Regularly review inactive or outdated records
